Raku - Smoke and Mirrors

The home made kiln uses the design from the book Alternative Kilns and Firing Techniques by James Watkins and Paul Wandless. [ISBN 978-1-157990-952-9],  a fantastic source of information and advice on all alternative firing processes and equipment.

Another video of Raku and pit firing and showing some the exhibits from an exhibition organized by Northern Potters Association which was held at Jarrow Hall in South Tyneside in 2020.
